Shouldn’t kill it, at least IME suspension stuff is usually pretty cheap. Even if a control arm bent or something, you could probably get a new one for $60 and labor would maybe be a couple hundred tops.

That's what I'm hoping but I'm worried that something major broke. It's 12 years old and lived outside in Ohio for most of its life.
